Christine Abrahamson, EdD
Dr. Abrahamson is a licensed school psychologist with
over twenty years experience assessing youngsters of all ages, from
preschool through high school. She has worked closely with families,
school staff and medical and mental health service providers in assessing
the needs of the ‘whole child’ in order to develop appropriate
interventions for youngsters with diverse personal strengths and
challenges which may include: cognitive, learning, emotional, attentional
and developmental needs.
Dr. Abrahamson has also taught at the high school level, tutored
special needs students and for many years provided clinical services
to youngsters and families involved with the Department of Mental
Health.
Dr. Abrahamson earned her doctorate degree at American International
College where, for several years, she evaluated youngsters referred
to the Curtis Blake Developmental Center. Dr. Abrahamson has also
taught undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of developmental
psychology and psychological assessment. |
