Alison Berman, LICSW

Alison Berman has managed, trained and consulted to teams and individuals and done extensive team building working with groups ranging from interns to business executives. She has supervised diverse teams with programs that included ongoing team building work and training. She was the associate director of a mental health clinic and one of her primary responsibilities was training and developing new staff. Additionally, Alison worked for a team-building program in San Francisco for 10 years utilizing team-building exercises, including ropes courses, to promote group performance and function for a diverse work force.

Alison is an Associate Professor at Smith School for Social Work where she teaches a course on group theory and practice. She also teaches a personal development course that explores each individual's beliefs and how to most effectively create what they want in their lives. She received her Master's degree in Social Work from Smith College.
